From BPO to Global Freelance Work
My professional journey started in the BPO industry, working in customer service, technical support, collections, and back-office operations. Those early years taught me the importance of communication, accountability, and understanding both customer and business needs.
In 2011, I began working remotely with clients around the world through Upwork. What started as freelance work evolved into a long-term career supporting businesses in a wide variety of roles, including project management, quality assurance, transcription, multimedia editing, operations support, and team coordination.
Over the years, I learned that while industries and tools change, successful businesses often face the same challenges: keeping projects organized, maintaining quality, and making sure the right people are working toward the right goals.
Building Businesses & Teams
In 2012, I founded Translation Tower Language Services, a translation agency that served clients for more than a decade. Managing translation projects required coordinating translators, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring clients received reliable service.
Later, I had the opportunity to help build and coordinate a remote customer service team that grew from just 3 agents to approximately 50 team members. That experience deepened my understanding of recruitment, team development, operations, and leadership.
These experiences reinforced something I strongly believe: great results come from great systems, clear communication, and people who care about doing things well.
Quality & Operations
For nearly 8 years, I worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist for a U.S.-based marketing company. I evaluated lead generation, appointment setting, sales, retention, and customer service interactions to ensure quality standards were met. Beyond scoring calls, I identified trends, documented issues, and helped improve performance through structured feedback and reporting.
Quality assurance taught me to pay attention to details that others often miss and to approach problems with a mindset of continuous improvement.
Today
Today, my focus is on helping businesses stay organized, improve operations, coordinate projects, and build systems that allow teams to perform at their best. I'm particularly interested in project management, operations, AI-powered workflows, team building, and process improvement.
Technology continues to evolve rapidly, and I'm excited by how AI and automation are changing the way businesses operate. I'm actively learning and exploring new tools that can help teams work smarter, communicate better, and achieve more.
Beyond Work
Outside of work, I'm a husband, father, musician, worship leader, and lifelong learner. I enjoy studying business, leadership, technology, faith, and personal growth. Whether I'm helping a client solve a problem, leading worship, or spending time with my family, I believe in approaching every responsibility with integrity, excellence, and a willingness to keep learning.
